I am looking forward to being with you on Sunday and being festive! The sermon title is The Jesus I Know. In the Christmas tradition we are in the middle of Advent–as we approach the celebration of Jesus’ birth. However, I believe it is the life of Jesus that matters the most. There is much talk about being born again in Christ, but too little about what Jesus’ life might mean for human behavior. I grew up very influenced by Jesus. I both cherish that experience and reject parts of it. I’ve known Jesus all my life. On Sunday, I will share what I know about him today. It’s not quite the same as I once knew him.
