Program Sunday

Roberta Kosse will once again present a lecture/performance for the UU community. The theme this year is: Words and Music - Beautiful Together! The program will demonstrate how music enhances the emotional and dramatic quality of language. Examples will include monologues from Shakepeare’s “Macbeth” and “Othello” and their counterparts in Giuseppi Verdi’s operas. Also included will be two different settings of a poem by Goethe as well as a few songs by Roberta set to poems by well known poets. Included will be both recordings and live music!
