Why Pursue The Green Sanctuary Program? Sunday, October 29. The Sunday morning services at 9 o’clock and at 11 o’clock on October 29 will answer this question. Peter Callaway, who has been leading not only our own Fellowship’s sustainability study group but also has begun groups in his local community and participated in a variety of programs and organizations that focus on environmental issues, will be our speaker. If undertaken, the Green Sanctuary Program will touch all of us within the Fellowship. You need to know what it is, what it involves, and what its results are likely to be. Please join with us to examine this important project. In preparation for that service, we ask you to think about a personal offering you can make that will contribute to making us a greener Fellowship. We will ask you to find some contribution you can make in your own lives, to write it on a piece of paper – either anonymously or sign your name – and place it in the offering basket we will be circulating for that purpose. To give you some ideas about the kinds of things you can consider as possible offerings, a separate sheet of suggestions is distributed with your program this morning. Of course you are not limited to these suggestions and we encourage you to be creative so that we can expand this list.
We hope to see you on October 29 at 9 am or 11 am
