“That Was a Year that Was” presented by Roberta Kosse. Roberta Kosse’s annual music lecture will examine the confluence of musical styles existing in the early days of the twentieth century. She will compare the aesthetics of diverse composers such as Ravel, Prokofiev, Bartok, Stravinsky, Strauss and Schoenberg, all of whom wrote significant works in the same time period. It promises to be a virtual riot of sound!
