Getting Involved With RE

Helping Hands

It is our expectation that each parent or guardian with a child in RE will serve as “Helping Hands” in the classroom. This ensures that teachers have the assistance they need, and it also fulfills our program’s protocol that two adults be present in each classroom. If you are unable to fulfill your assignment for a scheduled Sunday, it is expected that you will find a replacement.

Teach (Yes, you can!)

We provide the curriculum, guidance, materials and support. You provide the nurturing, safe classroom environment. Typically, teaching assignments are 3 months long and we truly believe you will have a remarkable and rewarding experience.

Or you can…

• Join the RE Committee; contact Susan Cuccinello if you are interested.
• Assist the Director of Religious Education with Multi-Age Sundays.
• Volunteer to take care of a specific task, such as cleaning and organizing our Sunday School supply closet, or planning an interstitial program.
